Anesthesia Begins
They have now started anesthesia, which takes two hours. They will be hooking her up to bypass. The surgery itself will then take another 4-5 hours. In total, everything should be 5-7 hours.
When I receive an update from the operating room, I will update the blog.
Please start praying for Tehilla bat Shoshana now.
Taken In
Tehilla was given a medication to calm her and it will also make her not remember anything about going into the operating room.
Ron has just taken her in. They will begin to hook hee up to monitors and insert several IVs and a central line. The process will take another 15-20 minutes. They will then start anesthesia.
I will update again, when Ron returns.
Waiting Area
We have been taken to the operating room and are in the waiting area. Tehilla is distracted with some kid's show. She is not happy that we won't give her a snack.
It is only a matter of time until she is taken in for surgery.
Fontan Surgery Day!
G'morning!
We have checked in to the hospital. Tehilla had her vitals taken and has been changed into hospital pajamas.
We are now waiting to be taken to the operating room.

Sweet Dreams
We had a very nice and quiet Shabbat filled with family games, long talks and much needed cuddles.
We are all packed and ready for tomorrow morning. We will be waking up at 5:30 am and out the door at 6:00 am. We are expected to be at the hospital for 6:30 am.
Surgery will begin around 8:00 am. The surgery including anesthesia is expected to be around 5-7 hours long.
I will be updating the blog as frequently as possible. Every two hours or so, we receive an update from the operating room.
I beg you to pray for Tehilla throughout her surgery. We have been told that Psalms 57, 58 and 75 are especially important to say for Tehilla.
A huge thank you to Wendy and Sweet Dreams for Kids! They are an organization that hands out pajamas to sick children throughout the USA. They heard about us and have been following our blog. This is the second time they have sent pajamas to our kids. Tehilla will be wearing hers until it is time to change for surgery. Please look up this incredible organization and donate pajamas to their cause.
Thank you to everyone that sent us packages and pictures! I can't wait to redecorate Tehilla's PICU room and surprise her with all of the goodies! We are blessed beyond measure to have you all on our journey.
Tomorrow is the day!
