Hanging Out

Tehilla and I took a nap, bought some soup for lunch and went for a walk. We met our cardiologist, Dr. Golander, who loved seeing Tehilla up and about. He is the only doctor that does not elicit screaming and crying from Tehilla.

We then went and got some pain killers because Tehilla said her chest was hurting. After a nice walk, we went to the gymboree. Tehilla jumped around and pretended to drive to the store to buy snacks and fruits.

Dr. Golander passed us again and was amused watching Tehilla jump around. He said that she is doing so well. He said that the results for the holter monitor don't seem to be in yet and probably won't be in until tomorrow. He said if it wasn't for this heart rate problem, we would have been home already.

He is very happy that the low heart rate happened on the holter monitor last night. They will analyse the data and make sure that there is nothing wrong with her heart and then decide whether or not to intervene in any way. As long as nothing serious comes out of the results, we are going home!

So pray for clear answers from the holter monitor!

  3. HaShem has been and is soooooo faithful and loving to Tehilla and you. Little Tehilla is a testimony of that. The way she bounced back so soon after surgery, the smiles of pure joy that reflects though her eyes, the way (I'm sure) she takes full breaths every time she screams and cries demonstrates a healing that only comes from HaShem.

When my son was 3 years old he got pneumonia, twice! The only indication of illness was that he wouldn't play, he would only sit by the window and look outside, and a poor appetite. He didn't even cough! So after he was diagnosed with viral pneumonia I was so grateful every time he screamed and cried. He was drawing in deep breaths of air into the bases of his lungs, strengthening and clearing them with each scream.

Thank you for posting all the wonderful (and sometimes frightening) updates and photos. So many thousands of people are praying for her and your entire family. You don't know most of us reading your posts from Adam (Chava), and most of us "lurk" without posting, but we are praying and doing mitzvot (as best as some of us are able) in her merit. You all are loved so deeply by so many, but most of all by HaShem.
